Our Company History

Passing on a legacy from Father to Son
Greenfields Plumbing has emerged from a long history in the plumbing industry. Managing Director Richard Craig cut his teeth in the industry as a quantity surveyor at Rodney Craig Plumbers, in the early 1990s.

Richard Craig named Business Person of the Year
In 2006 Richard Craig was named ABSA / WECBOF Business Person of the Year. Having built a team proficient in the use of HDPE, PEX, PPR, Pluvia / Rainflo rainwater and Mepla systems, as well as fire engineering.

Greenfields Plumbing is established
Greenfields Plumbing is headed up by Richard Craig who has more than 25 years’ industry experience. A former Chairman of the Western Cape chapter of the Institute of Plumbing South Africa (IOPSA), Richard is dedicated to quality design and efficient business processes.

Our on-site staff receive continuous training in the various plumbing disciplines as well as essential health and safety certifications.
